On March 14, Noetix Robotics, a tech firm affiliated with Tsinghua University, unveiled its N2 bipedal humanoid robot and signed an agreement with Tianning Economic Development Zone to industrialize the technology within the district's automotive components park. Mass production is slated to begin in June.
Priced starting at 39,900 yuan, the N2 model boasts "breakthrough motion capabilities and affordability," achieved through modular engineering and a highly localized supply chain. The company has already secured pre-production orders from various sectors, including scientific research, education, cultural tourism, and elderly companionship services.
The collaboration between Noetix Robotics and Tianning district is set to inject new momentum into regional industrial development. It also showcases China’s advanced manufacturing capabilities in the global humanoid robotics sector. With the imminent mass production of the N2 model, this initiative is expected to accelerate the adoption of intelligent "robot+" applications.
