Jiangsu has announced a three-year action plan (2025-2027) aimed at propelling the digital and intelligent transformation of its manufacturing sector, according to the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.

The plan focuses on the phased construction of intelligent factories, digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), artificial intelligence (AI) applications, the industrial Internet, data security, and the overall development environment.

By 2027, Jiangsu aims to complete the intelligent transformation of all industrial enterprises above a designated size, achieve substantial progress in AI applications, and take a leading role in advancing the modernization of the nation’s industrial base with a focus on digital transformation and innovation.
